(c) Chylomicrons eventually arrive in the bloodstream, but via lymphatic vessels. Why don’t chylomicrons (with their lipid nutrients) go directly into the bloodstream at the small intestine instead of entering lacteals, and using the lymphatic system to deliver them to the bloodstream?
