Traditional Foundation Construction (Mid Victorian Period 1840’s Building) v Modern 2021-22.
Compare and contrast these two periods of construction and the evolution of the technology used within the built environment. Using your photograph develop sketches to illustrate how the historic house foundation detail has evolved and identify the technology features that now forms part of the modern-day house taken at foundation up to ground floor detail. The two buildings used to inform your sketches must be in Chelmsford. Whilst external public access is all that is required you have looked at these buildings in person, internet images or similar are not acceptable.
This comparative exercise should be on an A3 sheet with illustrative text.
