1. Proposed The Effect of Motivation on Employee Performance: A case study of a Telecommunication Company in the Western Region of Nigeria
An explanatory quantitative research method will be used to collect relevant data to answer the postulated research questions. survey questionnaires will be used to collect data from potential participants. Purposeful sampling will be used to recruit employees and leaders from a telecommunication company located in the western region of Nigeria.
Employees and leaders will participate in survey questionnaires to give expert opinions on the effect of motivation on employee performance. Two survey tools will be used to collect data, including: (1) An 18-item Work Extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivation Scale to measure employee work motivation (Deci & Ryan, 2000); (2) A 18-item Individual Work Performance Questionnaire to measure employee work performance (Koopmans et al., 2014).
