You will have the opportunity to observe a range of video recorded teaching and learning sequences to see the IB philosophy in action in the classroom. To develop the ability to recognise, identify, reflect upon and communicate the core mission of IB education. Task description: Using a checklist with evidence and critical reflection guide (See BB), you will observe a range of video recorded learning sequences in IB Education and record your reflections. There are videos for both the PYP and the DP according to what level of schooling you are studying. Part 1: Complete checklist (tick which elements of the IB learner profile you observe in each video) and gather evidence from each video that demonstrates this IB learner profile) Part 2: ? Use the Critical Reflection framework (2007) to critically reflect on your experience of watching the videos. Refer to current research (within the last five years) to support statements and include a reference list. ? Outline your reflections regarding international mindedness and its relation to the Learner Profile. You may write or make a short video presentation to demonstrate your understandings and views.
