Topic: The Holocaust Annotated Bibliography: Students will complete and submit an annotated bibliography. The bibliography will be a list of references (e.g., books, articles, chapters, etc.) about a social studies topic of interest for a particular grade level/span. Students will identify references in the bibliography and evaluate their merit for use in an actual social studies classroom. The bibliography must include both non-fiction and fiction. Also, the bibliography will include a minimum of 25 references. So, each annotation must run between 125-150 words (not including the reference itself). The work is to  typed/12 pt. font Times New Roman font.

Each annotation will discuss the following points: 1. Citation details 2. A short statement that explains the main focus or purpose of the work 3. A short summary of the argument, perspective, intended audience, subjects covered, conclusions reached, and any special features 4. Consideration of the usefulness and/or limitations of the text for a social studies classroom. 5. An evaluative comment on the work that explains how it can be applied to teaching social studies as discussed by Wade in Social Studies for Social Justice.Besides, the connection with this book must be evident and explicit. Finally, the annotated bibliography must be APA formatted.
