Essay Assessment Criteria: a) Ability to coherently structure and present logical argument based on academically referenced sources. b) Demonstration of precise and relevant analytical insight avoiding vague and unsupported generalities. c) Identification and utilisation of appropriate supportive material d) Concise and effective comparative analysis with your own design project e) Evidence of broader cultural and contextual understanding. There is no formative (draft) submission for the essay. Instead, each of you will have an opportunity to present your work-in-progress during one of tie five seminars in weeks 5 to 10. For this you should prepare at least three paragraphs of writing, properly referenced, with some illustrations, correctly captioned.
