Using the images and material we went over in class and on the websiteLinks to an external site. (see below) choose a mask, wig, and costume (colors, patterns, split pants or not) that you would use for the main character in the Noh play Yamamba in the second half of the play (the nochi-jite).
Explain your costuming choices based on your interpretation of the character of Yamamba in the play. Is she young, middle-aged, or old? Is she demonic or benign? A deity? How powerful is she? Make sure you support your choices with quotations from the play.
