1. In what ways was the New Left influenced by prior and contemporary social movements specifically the labor movement and the civil rights movement and in what ways was the New Left distinct from those movements?
2. How would the different groups of theories we discussed in Week 2 describe the New Left? How would they explain the relationship between the New Left and other movements? (Important things to consider here: ideological and rhetorical frames, resources, networks.)
3. In what ways do you think the New Left affected contemporary and later social movements?
