Students will complete a 1,500 to 2,000 word research project prepared in current APA format focused on a physical geography topic of their choice (How Earthquakes Affect Our Environment and Society In California).
The final project must include at least eight (8) scholarly references, to include at least two (2) primary sources. At least two maps are to be included.
The paper will include: an introduction; general description and background of the topic; the geographic setting; the impacts of geography on the outcome, problem, or issue; and a summary and conclusion.
Students must follow APA formatting for title page, citations, maps, figures, and bibliography, using double-spacing, and Times New Roman 12-point font with 1-inch margins,.
Title/covers sheet and bibliography pages do not count toward your word count minimum.
