The theoretical part of the dissertation I would like to be focused on the Stem sectors, definitions and women on stem, some background on that, on the male dominated industries (theory of Tessa Wright), theory about equality and inclusion and the Impression management theory (Schlenker 1980; Tedeschi and Reiss 1981). Then, about the research I would like it to be a content analysis similar to this (Managing Organizational Gender Diversity Images: A Content Analysis of German Corporate Websites Leon Windscheid , Lynn Bowes-Sperry, Karsten Jonsen & Michèle Morner Journal of Business Ethics 152, 997–1013 (2018)). I would like you to go through around 30 websites of uk engineering companies and find which impression management technique-es they are using when they mention diversity and inclusion. Those 30 companies can be selected for example as members of the Engineering Uk or any trusted list that you can find. Engineering uk is a good idea to be used as they are involved in stem activities, check the website and you will find possibly some useful info to justify your choice. I will add on the board the dissertation module outline, one dissertation example of my uni that uses impression management theory and one other study very similar German study with what I want.
