For your initial post of approximately 250 words, choose one of the questions in the survey and, in your initial post, defend your answer by using reliable information from media sources. Use at least two sources (make sure you mention them in your post, so we know where the information is coming from). The Ad Fontes chart will be helpful here. In addition, find one reliable source that supports the opposite of your opinion/perspective. Make sure that in your post, you explain why you don’t find the opposite perspective compelling. All sources should be reliable sources–don’t find an unreliable source for the opposing viewpoint and then say that you don’t find it compelling because it isn’t reliable. For example, if you said you approve of New York State’s decision to legalize marajuana, provide information from two sources that support that perspective, and then also information from one source that doesn’t support the legalization, and explain why the argument against legalization isn’t convincing to you or is outweighed by the other sources. Once you’ve made your initial post, comment, in approximately 200 words, on two of your classmates’ posts, using evidence from sources. The posts you comment on should address a different survey question than the one you wrote about.
