I was raised by mother. my mother was a high school graduate that advocate that championed for higher education . my mother is sophisticated, strong work ethic, great desire to be an ever learning student. understood the significance of receiving a college education as it could help round you both personally and professionally also she was an employee of juvenile court seeing countless cases of at risk youth succumbing to the challenges of inner city issues and the prison system. I desire to be come an academic advisor, and am willing to start my career at an entry level position to further solidify my professional network and expertise. my desire to step into this role is inspired due to me having a positive exposure of advisors who continuously worked with me and helped me reach my goal of graduating when i felt that my chance to do so was bleak.
