Directions: Watch the Exit Through the Gift Shop documentary at the link below. The documentary is 1 hour 25 minutes long. Give yourself plenty of time to view the entire film before beginning your art reflection paper.
Write a minimum 500-word essay responding the following topics. (Complete each section thoroughly for the instructor to know you watched the entire film.)
1. After watching Exit Through the Gift Shop, what do you think about street art? Is it art? Why or why not? What do you think about it being illegal? Did this film change your view of street art in any way?
2. What do you think about Theirry Guetta AND Banksy? Are they artists? Why or why not? Did your view of them change during the film? Explain.
3. Create a formal analysis of either Banksy OR Guetta’s artwork. A formal analysis contains four aspects: description, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. Your analysis should be broken up into these four aspects and label each aspect in bold. Refer to chapter 4, section 3 for how to research each of these aspects as well as examples for each aspect.
