F‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍inal project: Research Proposal. Prepare and submit a research proposal indicating the background of the problem/the problem statement (introduction).

The aim of the study, the study’s research questions and hypothesis(es), a short review of the literature and the methodology/methodologies to be employed in your proposed study with the details of how you are going to collect your data using this methodology, your research instruments (e.g questionnaires, interview schedules), ethical concerns and the limitations of your study.

You are expected to draw on, and make reference to, some of the relevant research literature in your field when discussing your use of particular methods as well. You will also develop a research instrument (i.e. questionnaire/interview schedule/focus group discussion questions etc.) as a part of your methodology (no word count- please place it in the Appendix), and devise a research plan that will explain your ideas for the data collection, i.e. you wil‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍l do everything except collecting the data. The research instrument will not be marked for its length, but its effectiveness and efficiency in gathering the data you want, so do not think that reaching to the word limit with lots of repetitions with missing sections would be enough to pass this course.
